Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to manage the complete product development lifecycle, from concept creation and technical design to sampling, manufacturing, and final quality approval. The candidate should have solid design sensibilities, material knowledge, and hands-on experience in vendor coordination, costing, and production follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop innovative product concepts, hand sketches, technical drawings, 3D models, and realistic renders.
- Design furniture, home decor, lighting, accessories, and customised products.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, hardware, and fittings, considering aesthetics, durability, functionality, and cost.
- Prepare production-ready drawings with accurate dimensions, joinery details, and specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors, craftsmen, and manufacturers for sampling, prototyping, and production execution.
- Monitor production timelines, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely delivery.




- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products match approved designs and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates, evaluate vendor quotations, and maintain product development documentation.

Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of materials such as wood, MDF, veneers, metal, glass, stone, fabric, leather, cane, and rattan, along with relevant finishes.
- Understanding of joinery, fabrication, assembly, ergonomics, structural stability, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent hand-sketching skills and the ability to translate concepts into production-ready designs.
- Proficiency in at least one software from each category:
- 2D Drafting: AutoCAD
- 3D Modelling: SketchUp / 3ds Max / Rhino
- Rendering: D5 Render / Lumion / V-Ray
- Strong vendor management, communication, costing, scheduling, and quality-control skills.
