Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and technically strong Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, implement, integrate, and maintain responsive, browser-based CCTV Live Streaming and Monitoring Dashboard Software.

The solution will enable real-time CCTV camera monitoring and surveillance management through desktop computers, laptops, Android devices, and iPhones. The candidate should have practical knowledge of video streaming technologies, Video Management Systems (VMS), camera SDK integration, streaming server implementation, cloud infrastructure, and IoT-based monitoring platforms.

Experience in AI-enabled monitoring solutions, drone telemetry dashboards, Smart City applications, and large-scale monitoring systems will be an added advantage.

The candidate will be responsible for the complete software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, architecture, development, deployment, client integration, troubleshooting, documentation, and post-deployment technical support.

Key Responsibilities

1. CCTV Web Streaming & VMS Development

Design and develop responsive web-based CCTV live streaming and monitoring dashboards. Integrate IP cameras, CCTV systems, NVRs, and DVRs with the monitoring platform.

Implement live camera viewing, multi-camera layouts, camera status monitoring, and stream management.

Work with streaming protocols such as RTSP, WebRTC, HLS, and related video delivery technologies.

Optimize streaming performance, latency, bandwidth utilization, and browser compatibility.

Ensure compatibility across desktop, laptop, Android, and iOS devices.

1. Full-Stack Software Development

Develop frontend interfaces and backend services for the VMS platform. Design and integrate REST APIs, WebSocket communications, databases, and authentication systems.

Implement user management, role-based access control, camera configuration, and dashboard functionality.

Write clean, maintainable, secure, and scalable code.

Perform testing, debugging, performance optimization, and software maintenance.

1. Web Streaming Server Implementation

Configure, implement, and maintain video streaming servers. Integrate RTSP camera streams with browser-compatible streaming technologies.

Work with streaming servers and media frameworks such as MediaMTX, FFmpeg, GStreamer, or equivalent technologies.

Configure stream routing, session management, authentication, and secure video delivery.

Troubleshoot streaming failures, network connectivity, latency, and video playback issues.





Monitor server performance, concurrent viewers, bandwidth utilization, and system availability.

1. Camera SDK & ONVIF Integration

Integrate camera manufacturers' SDKs, APIs, and device interfaces. Work with ONVIF-compatible cameras for device discovery, stream profiles, configuration, and supported PTZ functions.

Understand RTSP stream URLs, camera authentication, codec compatibility, and device interoperability.

Evaluate ONVIF implementation and conformance requirements where applicable.

Understand third-party SDK licensing, software redistribution restrictions, and associated integration requirements.

1. Server, Cloud & Deployment

Deploy and maintain applications on Linux or Windows server environments, as appropriate. Configure networking, firewalls, ports, DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, and secure remote access.

Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

Implement Docker-based deployments and automated deployment processes where appropriate.

Monitor application health, logs, resource utilization, and server availability.

Support on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid deployment architectures.

1. AI, IoT, Smart City & Drone Telemetry

Integrate AI-based video analytics, event detection, and intelligent monitoring features. Work with IoT dashboards, telemetry data, device status, alerts, and real-time visualization.

Integrate drone telemetry data, where required, including location, flight status, and sensor information.

Contribute to Smart City surveillance, centralized monitoring, and command-and-control dashboard projects.

Integrate third-party AI engines, analytics APIs, and hardware interfaces as required.

1. End-to-End Project Ownership & Client Support

Take end-to-end responsibility for development, integration, testing, deployment, and delivery. Understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Coordinate with clients, hardware vendors, system integrators, and internal engineering teams.

Conduct system integration, acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and production rollout.

Provide technical demonstrations, documentation, user guidance, and post-deployment support.

Diagnose and resolve software, camera connectivity, streaming, server, and integration issues.

Manage enhancements, bug fixes, version upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.

Required Technical Skills

Strong full-stack web development experience.





Experience developing real-time monitoring dashboards or video surveillance applications.

Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Backend development experience using Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or equivalent technologies.

Understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, databases, and authentication mechanisms.

Practical knowledge of RTSP, WebRTC, HLS, video codecs, and streaming server architecture.

Experience with IP camera integration, camera SDKs, and ONVIF.

Knowledge of server administration, networking, cloud infrastructure, and application deployment.

Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser/mobile compatibility.

Solid debugging, integration, documentation, and client communication skills.

Preferred / Additional Skills

Experience with VMS, CCTV surveillance, IP cameras, NVRs, and DVRs.

Knowledge of FFmpeg, GStreamer, MediaMTX, or similar media frameworks.

Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with AI video analytics, computer vision, object detection, and event processing.

Experience with Smart City platforms, drone telemetry, IoT systems, or command-and-control dashboards.

Understanding of cybersecurity, secure video access, and user permission management.

Familiarity with open-source software licenses, codec patent considerations, camera SDK licensing, and ONVIF-related requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.

Demonstrable experience in full-stack development and application integration.

Relevant project experience in CCTV streaming, VMS, video processing, IoT, or real-time dashboards is strongly preferred.

Ability to independently manage technical tasks from development through production deployment and support.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer who can independently build a CCTV streaming and monitoring solution, integrate different camera brands, configure streaming servers, deploy applications on cloud or on-premises infrastructure, and take responsibility for client delivery and ongoing technical support.

Candidates with practical experience in CCTV Web Streaming, VMS, ONVIF, Camera SDK Integration, and Streaming Server Implementation will be given preference.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
