Job Summary

We are looking for proactive and result-oriented Freelance Recruiters across India who can source, screen, and share qualified candidate profiles from their respective regions.

The selected recruiters will work remotely and independently, identifying suitable candidates, conducting initial screening, and submitting relevant profiles to our HR team for further evaluation. We aim to build a network of approximately 2-3 freelance recruiters across different regions of India, covering North, South, East, and West India.

This opportunity is ideal for independent recruiters, freelance talent acquisition professionals, and recruitment consultants who have strong local candidate networks and can deliver quality profiles consistently.

Key Responsibilities

- Source suitable candidates through local networks, job portals, professional platforms, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Conduct initial screening of candidates based on the and hiring requirements shared by the company.




- Verify candidates basic qualifications, relevant experience, skills, current location, notice period, and interest in the opportunity.
- Share shortlisted and screened profiles with the Cogncise HR team for further evaluation.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the initial screening process.
- Ensure that candidate details and resumes shared are accurate and relevant to the open positions.
- Coordinate with the HR team regarding candidate feedback, interview availability, and recruitment progress.
- Build and maintain a solid candidate database within the assigned geographical region.
- Work on multiple vacancies as per the company's hiring requirements and agreed timelines.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Prior experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing, or freelance hiring is preferred.
- Fresh freelance recruiters with strong candidate networks may also apply.
- Good understanding of local job markets and candidate availability in the assigned region.
- Ability to source candidates across different job functions and experience levels.
- Strong screening, communication, and candidate coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage recruitment assignments, and meet agreed timelines.




- Must have their own laptop/computer, a stable internet connection, and access to basic recruitment tools.
- Professional approach towards candidate confidentiality and accurate information sharing.

Recruiters may be assigned a region or specific locations based on their existing network and the company's recruitment requirements. Engagement & Payment Terms

- This is a freelance engagement and not a full-time salaried employment position.
- Recruiters will work remotely and manage their sourcing activities independently.
- Payment structure, recruitment fees, and applicable payment terms will be communicated and mutually agreed upon before the assignment begins.
- Work allocation will depend on the company's active hiring requirements.
- Performance will be assessed based on profile relevance, screening quality, candidate responsiveness, and recruitment outcomes.
