Role Description This is a remote, freelance/contract role for an Alteryx professional with 7+ years of experience. The role involves designing, building, and optimizing Alteryx workflows and data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.

The professional will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure data quality and performance standards are met. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting and enhancing existing workflows, documenting processes and best practices, and integrating Alteryx solutions with other data and reporting tools. The role also requires proactive communication with project teams, adherence to deadlines,



and participation in ongoing improvements to data and analytics processes.

Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and Server, including building complex workflows, automations, and data transformations.
- Proficiency in data analytics and data modeling, with the ability to clean, blend, and prepare data from multiple sources for reporting and insights.
- Experience integrating Alteryx with BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik) and working with databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, or cloud data warehouses).
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data governance, and performance optimization for large datasets.
- Ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into scalable technical solutions, and document workflows clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering accurate, reliable outputs under contract timelines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in remote, cross-functional, or client-facing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in consulting or qualified services and familiarity with agile or iterative project methodologies is an advantage.
