Job Summary

G.D. Goenka Public School, Kolkata, invites applications from experienced and passionate Football Coaches to train students, develop football skills, and prepare school teams for inter-school competitions and tournaments. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, relevant coaching qualifications, and the ability to organise and manage football training programes and school sporting events.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular football coaching sessions for students across different age groups and skill levels.
- Teach ball control, passing, dribbling, shooting, tackling, positioning, and tactical strategies.
- Develop students' stamina, speed, coordination, teamwork, and match awareness.
- Identify talented players and prepare school football teams for competitive events.
- Organise practice matches, drills, fitness sessions, and tournament preparation.
- Supervise football activities during school sports programmes and other events.
- Monitor individual and team performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure the safe use of sports equipment and maintain discipline during training and matches.
- Follow appropriate safety measures and school guidelines during all sporting activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's in any Domain from a recognized university is Mandatory
- Relevant football coaching certification, sports qualification,



or formal training in football is preferred.
- Proven experience in football coaching at a school, football academy, sports club, or recognised institution.
- Practical experience in organising or participating in football tournaments, leagues, or competitive matches.
- Ability to coach students of different age groups and skill levels.
- Strong understanding of football rules, tactics, fitness conditioning, and player development.
- Experience in preparing school teams for inter-school tournaments will be an advantage.
- Relevant certificates, coaching credentials, and supporting documents must be available for verification.
