Role Description The Foreign Exchange Specialist role at FXpertise Solution is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The specialist will handle daily foreign exchange operations, including processing outward remittances, managing currency orders, and supporting multi-currency card and corporate FX transactions.

Responsibilities include monitoring currency markets, providing rate quotations, analyzing customer requirements, and ensuring compliance with RBI and internal policies. The role involves advising customers on FX options,



resolving queries, coordinating with banks and internal teams, and maintaining accurate documentation and transaction records. The specialist will also contribute to process improvements and support customer education on secure and cost-effective FX solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Foreign Exchange Management and Currency handling, with a clear understanding of RBI and relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Solid foundation in Finance, including knowledge of cross-border payments, remittances, and basic financial products.
- Proven Analytical Skills to interpret currency trends, assess risk, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Experience or familiarity with Trading concepts related to foreign exchange, including rate negotiation and market monitoring.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain FX products and processes clearly.
- Attention to detail, robust numerical accuracy, and proficiency in using financial and transaction management software.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; prior experience in FX, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
