Working Days: Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday off)

Pace Logistics Services is a quick-growing logistics company in Mohali that provides reliable freight and transportation solutions to clients across the United States. We are looking for an experienced and confident Floor Manager to lead our freight brokerage floor and drive team performance.

Role Overview The Floor Manager will run the brokerage floor day to day, leading a team of freight brokers, carrier sales reps and dispatchers. You will make sure the team meets its targets, maintains strong customer and carrier relationships, and follows company processes and compliance standards. The role needs a strong leader with excellent communication skills, confidence and hands-on brokerage experience.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Floor Management

- Lead, motivate and manage the team of freight brokers, carrier reps and dispatchers on the floor
- Assign daily targets and monitor calls, load bookings and productivity in real time
- Keep the floor disciplined, punctual and professional
- Run daily huddles, team meetings and performance check-ins

Performance and Targets

- Set and track team and individual KPIs: loads booked, revenue, margin, call volume and new accounts
- Review performance regularly and give coaching and feedback
- Identify top performers and support team members who are underperforming with improvement plans
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports for management

Operations and Escalations

- Oversee the full load cycle from booking to delivery, and make sure shipments are on time
- Handle escalations from shippers and carriers: delays, claims, rate disputes and service issues




- Step in to negotiate high-value or difficult loads when needed
- Make sure carriers are vetted and compliant (MC/DOT authority, insurance, safety)

Training and Development

- Train new joiners on freight brokerage, load boards, TMS and company processes
- Run ongoing training on negotiation, communication and US market knowledge
- Help hire and interview new brokers alongside HR

Process and Quality

- Make sure processes, SOPs and documentation standards are followed
- Monitor call quality and customer communication
- Suggest and put in place improvements to raise efficiency and profitability

Requirements
- [5+] years of experience in US freight brokerage or logistics, with at least [2] years in a team lead or floor manager role
- Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written
- Strong confidence, leadership and people-management skills
- In-depth knowledge of US freight: FTL, LTL, dry van, reefer and flatbed
- Hands-on experience with load boards (DAT, Truckstop) and TMS/CRM software
- Solid negotiation and problem-solving skills
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and handle several escalations at once
- Good reporting skills in MS Excel / Google Sheets
- Comfortable working night shifts on a fixed basis
- Based in or willing to relocate to Mohali / Chandigarh Tricity

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or scaling a brokerage team from the ground up
- An existing network of shippers and carriers
- A graduate degree in any field; an MBA or management qualification is a plus
