About the Role

We're looking for a highly proactive Fleet Operations professional to build and manage a delivery rider fleet out of our Baner, Pune office, ensuring smooth daily execution of client delivery requirements. This is a newly created, office-based role responsible for rider deployment, attendance, manpower planning, salary coordination, and issue resolution across multiple active clients.

What You Will Do

1. Drive rider hiring and fleet onboarding through personal networks, job portals, field recruiters, local references, vendor partners, and market activations
2. Coordinate daily rider deployment as per client delivery requirements and ensure timely closure of manpower vacancies
3. Handle rider onboarding, documentation, and daily operational hygiene
4. Manage rider attendance, punctuality, discipline, and daily reporting
5.



Monitor rider productivity, order execution, and service quality
6. Resolve rider-related issues such as absenteeism, salary concerns, disputes, and performance gaps
7. Coordinate salary inputs, payouts, incentives, and attendance records
8. Act as the bridge between clients, riders, and the internal operations team
9. Track operational MIS through Excel and prepare daily reports
10. Ensure customer complaints and delivery escalations are resolved quickly
11. Support in building a stable rider ecosystem for long-term operations

What We're Looking For

1. 2-4 years of experience specifically in last-mile/quick-commerce rider or fleet management (companies like Zomato, Swiggy, BigBasket, Shadowfax, Delhivery, or similar)
2. Fluency in Hindi and Marathi is mandatory
3. Strong command over Excel, Google Sheets, email, and WhatsApp-based communication
4. Ability to manage high-pressure daily operations with strong follow-up and problem-solving skills
5. Comfortable managing a large rider base (80-100+ riders) across multiple active clients (6-7) from an office-based setup
