Job Title: Fire Pump Technician

Experience: 2–5 years preferred

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical qualification

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Fire Pump Technician to install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire pump systems and associated firefighting equipment. The ideal candidate should have practical technical knowledge of fire pump operations, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and fire safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and maintain fire pump systems, including electric motor-driven and diesel engine-driven pumps.
- Inspect fire pumps, controllers, valves, pressure gauges, and related equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and operational testing as per approved procedures.
- Check pump performance, pressure, flow, and system operation.
- Identify faults and carry out troubleshooting and repair work.
- Inspect pump room equipment and report leaks, unusual noises, vibration, or other defects.
- Assist with testing and maintenance of firefighting systems in accordance with project requirements.
- Read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Maintain service records, inspection reports,



and maintenance documentation.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and applicable UAE fire safety requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete work safely and on schedule.

Requirements
- Relevant technical qualification or practical experience in fire pump maintenance.
- Previous experience with fire pumps or firefighting systems is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electric and diesel fire pumps, pump controllers, valves, and pressure testing.
- Ability to identify faults and perform routine maintenance.
- Knowledge of fire safety practices and safe working procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Good communication skills and a responsible attitude.
- UAE or GCC experience is an advantage.
- Relevant UAE approvals or certifications are preferred where required for the role.
