Role & responsibilities

- Design fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm and detection, and fire suppression systems.

- Prepare layout drawings, hydraulic calculations, piping isometrics and system schematics.

- Ensure compliance with applicable NFPA, IS, TAC, NBC and local fire authority standards.

- Select and size fire pumps, valves, sprinklers, hydrants, detectors and control panels.

- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications and tender documentation.

- Coordinate with clients and fire authorities for Fire NOC and TAC approvals, wherever applicable.

- Provide technical support to site execution teams and resolve design-related queries.

- Assist in site surveys, testing and commissioning activities.

- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality and Execution departments.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E.



in Mechanical Engineering or Fire & Safety Engineering.

- 4 years of relevant experience in fire protection system design.

- Practical knowledge of fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm and suppression systems.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD, hydraulic calculations and fire protection layouts.

- Understanding of fire pumps, valves, detectors and control panels.

- Knowledge of applicable NFPA, IS, TAC and NBC standards.

- Experience in BOQ preparation, tendering and fire authority coordination will be an advantage.

- Solid analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.

- Willing to work from the Chhani office, Vadodara.
