About the Role

Do you want to be part of a growing startup and its growth story? We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented finance and operations intern to support our billing, vendor payments, and operations teams. As we grow, there will be opportunities to get involved in more areas of the business and grow with the company. Strong performers are converted to full-time and given ownership of a function.

Responsibilities

- Support freight billing, invoicing, and trip reconciliation
- Track vendor payments, outstanding dues, and POD (proof of delivery) follow-ups
- Prepare daily and weekly MIS reports in Excel/Google Sheets
- Coordinate with branches, transporters, and customers on documents and payments
- Flag errors and delays, and suggest improvements to processes

Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance or Operations) or a related degree
- Good working knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Basic understanding of accounting; Tally or ERP exposure is a plus
- Clear communication in English; Kannada, Hindi, or Telugu is a plus
- Accuracy, punctuality, and willingness to learn
- A startup mindset: curious, hands-on, and comfortable taking initiative
- Willingness to be reachable by phone and WhatsApp between 9 AM and 9 PM (see Working Expectations)

Months 4-6 | Associate (probation) | ₹18,000 |

Month 7 onwards | Confirmed executive | ₹22,000 |

After 1 year | Confirmed executive | ₹25,000 |

Each phase is evaluated before any increase in pay or move to the next phase. Confirmation at month 7 depends on a written performance review at the end of month 6. The raise to ₹25,000 after one year is subject to a satisfactory annual review. Review criteria are shared at the start of each phase. Further growth beyond year one is performance-based. High performers who prove themselves can earn significantly more than the pay above, at the company's discretion.

Working Expectations

Logistics operations run beyond standard office hours, and in a small team we depend on each other. This role requires:

- Being available to respond between 9 AM and 9 PM, on call and on WhatsApp, for queries from the team
- Prompt responses to urgent operational matters during this window, even outside regular duty hours
