Lakhotia College of Design is looking for a skilled and passionate Fashion Designer to teach and mentor students across core Fashion Design subjects through practical, industry-oriented learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach core subjects including Fashion Illustration, Design Development, Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Draping, Textiles, Fashion Styling and Fashion Merchandising.
- Conduct practical sessions, assignments, design critiques and assessments.
- Guide students in garment development, design projects and portfolio creation.
- Teach Digital Fashion Illustration and Digital Pattern Making, where applicable.
- Prepare lesson plans and practical exercises.
- Mentor students and keep teaching aligned with current fashion industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- 2+ years of teaching or industry experience preferred.
- Robust knowledge of core Fashion Design subjects and practical techniques.
- Knowledge of digital design tools and CLO 3D is an advantage.
- Good communication, presentation and student mentoring skills.
- Passion for teaching and developing future fashion professionals.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
