Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Façade Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in façade estimation, costing, and tender preparation. The candidate should have solid technical knowledge of aluminium and glazing systems, the ability to interpret architectural drawings, and experience preparing accurate and competitive project estimates.

Key Responsibilities

- Study architectural, structural, and façade drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for façade projects, including unitized and semi-unitized curtain walls, structural glazing, ACP cladding, aluminium doors and windows, uPVC windows, aluminium railings, skylights, canopies, and domes.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare material, glass, aluminium, hardware, accessory, and consumable calculations.
- Prepare detailed BOQs, rate analysis, costing sheets, and tender quotations.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers, fabricators, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with design, project, procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure technical and commercial accuracy.




- Analyse project specifications and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance.
- Prepare comparative statements for materials, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Review tender requirements, identify scope gaps, exclusions, and commercial risks.
- Assist in tender submissions, technical clarifications, and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain estimation records, costing databases, and project-wise rate information.
- Support the project team during handover by sharing approved estimates, quantities, and costing details.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in façade estimation and costing.
- Strong understanding of curtain wall systems, aluminium glazing, ACP cladding, and façade materials.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of estimation software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, negotiation, and commercial skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet tender deadlines, and manage multiple estimates.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
