PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

- Handle Export RFQs and prepare freight quotations based on shipment requirements.
- Obtain and negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, co-loaders, overseas agents and transport vendors.
- Ensure accurate costing, margin control and timely submission of quotations.
- Understand shipmentrequirementssuch as POL, POD, destination, commodity, container type, quantity, weight and shipment terms.
- Coordinate with the Operations team after booking confirmation and ensure proper handover of shipment details.
- Handle customer queries related to rates,schedules, bookings,shipmentstatus and documentation.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and provide timely updates.
- Follow up on pending quotations, bookings and customer requirements.
- Maintain pricing records, quotation sheets and customer-related data.
- Support the sales team with competitive pricing and quick rate responses.
- Escalate rate, margin,service or customer-related issues to the reporting manager.
- Ensure compliance with company KRA, KRI, SOP and reporting requirements.
