Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer with strong functional testing expertise in Trade Finance systems, particularly Misys/Finastra TI+ (Trade Innovation Plus). The candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end trade finance workflows, SWIFT messaging, transaction processing, settlements, and accounting entries to ensure the accuracy and reliability of banking applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business and functional requirements for trade finance products, including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), inward/outward bills, collections, export/import financing, and Supply Chain Finance.
- Prepare test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure comprehensive coverage of TI+ modules.
- Perform end-to-end functional testing of product creation, amendments, document checking, discrepancy handling, and workflow approvals.
- Validate charges, commissions, settlements, accounting entries, and general ledger (GL) postings.
- Test SWIFT messages, including MT7xx, MT4xx, and MT1xx series, for correct formatting, mapping, and processing.
- Validate End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) processes, interest calculations,



charge postings, and accounting entries.
- Identify, document, and track defects, coordinating with development and business teams through resolution.
- Support regression testing, defect retesting, and test execution reporting.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with applicable trade finance business rules and ICC standards.

Essential Skills :

- 3 - 8 years of experience in functional testing of banking or trade finance applications.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Misys/Finastra TI+ (Trade Innovation Plus).
- Strong understanding of trade finance products, processes, and transaction lifecycles.
- Knowledge of ICC rules and standards, including UCP 600, URDG, URC, and ISP98.
- Experience testing SWIFT messages and payment processing flows.
- Understanding of settlements, commissions, interest calculations, and accounting/GL entries.
- Solid analytical, defect management, and documentation skills.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to Finacle 11x.
- Experience in banking product implementations, upgrades, or regression testing.
- Knowledge of banking operations and trade finance regulatory requirements.
