Key responsibilities

Production data entry and management

- Accurately enter daily production data in the ERP: production confirmations, work-order / job-card bookings, quantities produced, rejections, rework and scrap.

- Record material issues to the shop floor and receipts of finished and semi-finished goods so system stock matches physical stock.

- Maintain production master data in coordination with PPC and Engineering: BOMs, routings, work centres and part masters.

- Support BOM corrections needed for correct standard costing and system stock valuation.

- Complete all entries for the shift / day within the agreed cut-off time.

Coordination with production teams

- Work with shift supervisors and operators to collect production, downtime and rejection details on time and in the correct format.

- Coordinate with Stores, Quality and PPC to close open transactions and resolve mismatches between departments.

- Guide shop-floor staff on correct data recording and the documents required for ERP entry.

Reporting and analysis

- Generate daily, weekly and monthly production reports from the ERP: output vs plan, rejection and scrap, WIP and stock status.

- Analyse trends and highlight variances to the Production Head to support planning and decision-making.

- Help validate PP-module reports with process owners so they match actual shop-floor performance.





- Provide accurate data inputs for MRP runs and month-end stock and valuation.

Troubleshooting and data accuracy

- Identify and correct errors in production entries, and investigate stock or quantity mismatches.

- Log ERP issues with the IT helpdesk / TCS support, follow up and confirm closure.

- Run periodic checks (e.g. physical vs system stock, open work orders) to keep data clean.

- Suggest improvements to production data flows and ERP usage that reduce manual effort and errors.

- Support user training and adoption of new ERP features, including MRP.

Technical skills

- Working knowledge of ERP transactions, ideally the production / PP and inventory modules (TCS ERP, SAP or similar).

- Good MS Excel skills: lookups, pivot tables and basic charts for reporting.

- Understanding of manufacturing basics: BOMs, routings, work orders, WIP, rejection and scrap, especially in stamping and machining.

Behavioural competencies

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Discipline to meet daily data cut-offs.

- Transparent communication and coordination with shop-floor teams across shifts.

- Analytical, problem-solving approach to data mismatches.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Experience

- ERP systems: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification
