Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and material estimates based on engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements. The candidate should have good analytical skills and the ability to prepare competitive and technically accurate project estimates.

Key Responsibilities

- Study and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, specifications, and tender documents.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

- Calculate material quantities, labour costs, equipment costs, and other project-related expenses.

- Prepare and review quotations, tender estimates, and cost comparison statements.

- Coordinate with design, procurement, vendors, and project teams to obtain necessary technical and commercial information.

- Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.

- Maintain estimation records, cost sheets, and relevant project documentation.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure accuracy in estimation.

- Assist in tender preparation, submission,



and follow-up activities.

- Revise estimates based on changes in drawings, specifications, or project requirements.

Required Skills:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in estimation, costing, or quantity surveying is preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and other estimation-related software.

- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost analysis.

- Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹49,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

- Vadodara, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience

- Estimation: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel

- 25% (Preferred)
