Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to handle Grade 10 students. The ideal candidate should have solid subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prepare students for board examinations through effective teaching strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.

Teach English grammar, prose, poetry, reading comprehension, and writing skills.

Prepare students for Grade 10 board examinations through regular assessments and revision sessions.

Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and study materials.

Conduct regular tests, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.

Identify students' learning difficulties and provide additional academic support.

Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.

Track students' academic progress and communicate with parents regarding performance.

Participate in staff meetings, academic planning,



and school activities.

Maintain academic records and complete all assessment-related documentation on time.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English.

B.Ed. qualification preferred or as required by the school.

Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably teaching Grade 10.

Strong command of English grammar, literature, and language skills.

Experience in preparing students for board examinations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good classroom management and student engagement skills.

Proficiency in preparing lesson plans and assessment materials.

Ability to use digital teaching tools and educational technology.
