Job Summary

We are looking for an Engineering Stores Keeper to manage engineering spare parts, consumables, tools, and maintenance materials in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The candidate should have valuable inventory-management skills, basic ERP/SAP knowledge, and preferably some exposure to pharmaceutical raw-material stores and GMP practices.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily activities of Engineering Stores, including material receipt, storage, issue, and return.

Maintain stock of engineering spares such as mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utility, and maintenance consumables.

Verify incoming materials against PO, delivery challan, specifications, quantity, and part number.

Issue materials against approved material requisitions and maintain proper records.

Update material receipt and issue transactions in ERP/SAP.

Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and raise requirements for critical/fast-moving spares.

Conduct periodic physical stock verification and maintain inventory accuracy.

Track critical, slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete spares.





Maintain proper documentation and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.

Follow GMP, SOP, and housekeeping.

Coordinate with Engineering, Purchase, QC, Production, and Warehouse departments.

ERP / Computer Skills

Basic to good knowledge of SAP/ERP inventory transactions.

Knowledge of material receipt, issue, stock transfer, and inventory reports.

Basic MS Excel, Word, and email skills.

Knowledge of material coding and inventory records is preferred.

Raw Material Stores Knowledge Preferred

Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical warehouse/raw-material stores.

Understanding of quarantine, approved/rejected status, batch/lot traceability, Awareness of GMP documentation and storage practices.

Desired Skills
