Role Description The Engineering CAD role at Cad Desk is a full-time, in office position based in Hosur. The role involves preparing, updating, and managing technical drawings and models using CAD software, in accordance with project requirements and established CAD standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting engineering sketches and specifications, creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings, coordinating with trainers and engineers, and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.



The Engineering CAD professional will also support training activities, assist in maintaining drawing libraries, and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

- Ability to work with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and apply CAD Standards effectively.
- Strong Technical Drawing and Drawing skills for producing transparent and precise engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) or willingness to learn BIM workflows.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawing tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in an on-site team environment.
- Prior experience or internship in CAD drafting or design will be an advantage.
