Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Engineering Draftsman to join our engineering and design team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing accurate technical drawings, engineering layouts, and detailed design documentation in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards.

Candidates must have practical knowledge of drafting software, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and experience coordinating with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate and high-quality drawings.

Important: We are strictly looking for experienced candidates with relevant hands-on experience in engineering drafting. Freshers and candidates without relevant industry experience will not be considered.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical layouts, and design plans based on project requirements and engineering specifications.
- Develop 2D drawings and, where required, 3D models using drafting and design software.
- Read, interpret, and understand engineering sketches, technical specifications, and design instructions.
- Prepare assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, component drawings, and detailed engineering plans as required.
- Make revisions and modifications to existing drawings based on feedback from engineers and project teams.




- Ensure drawings comply with relevant engineering standards, dimensions, tolerances, and project specifications.
- Verify drawing accuracy, dimensions, material specifications, and other technical details before submission.
- Coordinate with design engineers, production teams, project managers, and other departments to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Maintain and update drawing records, technical documentation, and revision histories.
- Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and related technical documentation wherever required.
- Ensure drawings are completed within project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Support engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, and installation activities by providing accurate technical drawings.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline, depending on the company's requirements.
- Proven experience working as an Engineering Draftsman, CAD Draftsman, or in a similar engineering drafting role.
- Hands-on proficiency in relevant drafting software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or other industry-specific tools, depending on the engineering domain.




- Robust understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
- Ability to interpret engineering designs, sketches, and technical instructions.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drawings.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with engineering teams.
- Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, or construction drawings, depending on the project requirements, will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements – Strictly Mandatory
- Experienced candidates only.
- Candidates must have relevant hands-on experience in engineering drafting.
- Applicants should be comfortable preparing, modifying, and reviewing technical drawings independently.
- Candidates with practical knowledge of relevant CAD software and engineering documentation will be preferred.
- Freshers and candidates without relevant professional experience are strictly not eligible.
