Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with approximately 5 years of experience in product design, engineering drawings, 3D modelling, and design development. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective and high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Ensure designs comply with customer specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, production, quality, and procurement teams.
- Review and modify existing designs to improve performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct design reviews and resolve engineering issues during production.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product improvement activities.
- Maintain engineering documentation, revision control, and design records.




- Meet project deadlines while ensuring accuracy and design quality.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Around 5 years of relevant design engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in relevant CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of engineering materials, design standards, and quality requirements.
- Good analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in product development and design optimization.
- Knowledge of DFMEA, DFM, and DFA.
- Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems and engineering change management.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, and manufacturing teams.

- Design accuracy and drawing quality.
- On-time completion of design projects.
- Reduction in design errors and manufacturing rework.
- Cost optimization and design improvement.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
