- - Sri Varada Electricals is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to manage site execution, labour coordination, measurements, billing, material planning, and day-to-day electrical project activities for residential apartment projects.

- The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in electrical contracting and be capable of independently handling site responsibilities, coordinating with clients and contractors, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring timely project execution.

- Key Responsibilities

- Site Execution and Project Coordination

- - Supervise and coordinate electrical works at residential apartment project sites.

- - Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project schedules.

- - Plan daily work activities and monitor progress against targets.

- - Coordinate with clients, consultants, other contractors, supervisors, and site teams.

- - Identify site issues and ensure timely resolution.

- - Labour and Manpower Management
- - Allocate daily work to electricians, technicians, and helpers.

- - Monitor attendance, productivity, workmanship, and work quality.

- - Prepare daily and weekly work plans and track completion.

- - Minimise idle labour, rework, and unnecessary expenses.

- - Ensure proper coordination between labour teams and site activities.

- - Measurements, Billing and Documentation

- - Prepare and verify site measurement sheets.

- - Prepare RA bills, final bills,



and supporting documents.

- - Reconcile executed quantities with BOQ quantities and previously billed work.

- - Identify and document extra items, deviations, and additional works.

- - Maintain billing records, measurement checklists, and work-completion records.

- - Track submitted bills, certified amounts, deductions, and pending payments.

- - Ensure completed work is measured and billed without delay.

- - Material Planning and Control
- - Prepare material requirement lists based on site progress.

- - Coordinate with the office and suppliers for timely material procurement.

- - Monitor material receipt, consumption, stock, and wastage.

- - Maintain proper material records and prevent unnecessary losses.

- - Quality and Progress Monitoring
- - Check electrical installations for quality and compliance with approved drawings.

- - Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, and work checklists.

- - Ensure timely completion of assigned work and rectify defects.

- - Coordinate inspections and maintain project documentation.

- - Reporting and Accountability
- - Submit daily reports on labour, work progress, materials, and site issues.

- - Provide weekly updates on measurements, billing, pending work, and material requirements.

- - Maintain transparent records and communicate delays or commercial issues promptly.

- - Take responsibility for the assigned project's execution, documentation, and coordination.





- Required Skills and Experience
- - Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical contracting or MEP project execution.

- - Diploma, BE, or B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

- - Strong practical knowledge of electrical installation works in residential apartment projects.

- - Experience in RA billing, site measurements, BOQ reconciliation, and extra-item billing.

- - Good knowledge of labour management, manpower planning, and site supervision.

- - Experience in material planning, procurement coordination, and cost control.

- - Ability to read electrical drawings and maintain accurate project documentation.

- - Working knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD drawings.

- - Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

- Preferred Candidate Profile
- - Candidates with experience working for electrical contractors or MEP contractors are preferred.

- - Must be hands-on, responsible, and capable of independently managing assigned site activities.

- - Should understand both electrical execution and billing/commercial documentation.

- - Must be willing to travel to project sites within Bengaluru as required.
