As an Elder Care Partner on Maa Nest, you can create your professional profile, choose your preferred service areas, manage your availability, and receive booking requests directly through the Maa Nest app.

You remain in control of which bookings you accept, based on your availability, experience, and suitability for the requested care.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate, personalised care and companionship to senior citizens at home.
- Assist with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, meals, and hydration.
- Support safe mobility, walking, transfers, and routine exercises within your training.
- Accompany seniors to appointments and outings when required.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe care environment.
- Monitor and communicate relevant changes in the senior’s condition to the family.
- Provide medication reminders and post-hospitalisation support within your competence.
- Follow hygiene, consent, privacy, and patient-safety guidelines.
- Maintain punctuality, professional communication, and responsible completion of accepted bookings.
- Comply with Maa Nest’s verification, onboarding, and skilled conduct guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants with relevant experience in elder care, home care, nursing, caregiving, or senior support are encouraged to apply.
- Nursing qualifications such as GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or ANM are welcome for roles and tasks within the applicant's professional scope.
- Caregiver training or relevant experience supporting senior citizens is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate respectfully with seniors and their families.
- A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to care.
- Willingness to complete Maa Nest's identity verification and relevant qualification or experience checks.
- Ability to travel to clients' homes in the selected service areas of Bengaluru.
- Professional registration or credentials wherever required by applicable regulations and the nature of the services offered.





Freshers may be considered for suitable non-clinical caregiving assignments, subject to onboarding, training, verification, and role suitability. Clinical nursing duties require the appropriate qualifications and credentials. Elder Care Services on Maa Nest

Depending on the professional's qualifications, experience, and the family's requirements, bookings may include:

- Daily Living Assistance: Help with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and routine activities.
- Companionship for Seniors: Conversation, emotional support, recreational activities, and general supervision.
- Mobility Assistance: Support with walking, movement around the home, safe transfers, and fall-risk awareness.
- Post-Hospitalisation Support: Non-clinical assistance during recovery at home, within the caregiver's training and agreed responsibilities.
- Nursing Care at Home: Appropriate nursing services provided only by qualified professionals, subject to applicable requirements.
- Medication Reminders: Support with routine reminders in accordance with agreed instructions and the professional's permitted scope.
- Meal and Hydration Support: Assistance with meals, feeding where appropriate, and hydration.
- Overnight and Extended Care: Eligible longer-duration bookings for seniors who need assistance or supervision, subject to available packages and booking rules.
- Senior Wellness Support: Assistance with daily routines, social engagement, and maintaining independence.

The specific services available depend on the professional's approved profile, qualifications, and the booking requested. Caregivers must not perform clinical procedures or other duties beyond their training and authorisation. How the Work Model Operates
- Download the Maa Nest app and register as an Elder Care Partner.
- Complete your profile and the required onboarding and verification steps.
- Select your preferred working areas across Bengaluru.
- Set your availability according to your schedule.
- Receive elder care booking requests from families through the app.
- Review each request and accept or decline it based on your availability and suitability.
- Visit the senior citizen's home and provide the agreed care for the booked duration.
- Complete the booking through the app.
- Receive payouts for eligible completed bookings according to Maa Nest's applicable payout terms.

There are no fixed office shifts.



You choose when you are available and which suitable bookings you accept. Elder care sessions are subject to available booking slots and the applicable service and booking rules.

All Elder Care Partners must complete Maa Nest's onboarding and verification process before becoming eligible to receive bookings. This includes identity verification and relevant qualification or experience checks, as applicable.

Partners are expected to

- Treat every senior citizen with dignity, patience, and respect.
- Obtain appropriate consent and respect personal boundaries.
- Protect confidential family and client information.
- Follow safe hygiene, mobility, and caregiving practices.
- Report relevant safety concerns or changes in the client's condition to the family.
- Decline tasks that are unsafe or outside their competence.
- Never undertake clinical procedures without the necessary qualifications and authorisation.

Maa Nest is a technology platform connecting families with independent professionals. It is not a hospital, nursing home, clinic, or medical provider.
