Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, pumps, compressors, and other machinery.

- Maintain and repair electrical panels, MCC panels, PCC panels, distribution boards, and control panels.

- Inspect and maintain circuit breakers, contactors, relays, transformers, and switchgear.

- Diagnose faults in electrical wiring, control circuits, and power distribution systems.

- Carry out maintenance of motors, starters, VFDs, and soft starters.

- Monitor electrical parameters such as voltage, current, power factor, and load.

- Perform insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, and earthing checks.

- Maintain electrical maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance schedules.

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and lockout/tagout (LOTO).

- Coordinate with production and other maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.





- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards and workplace safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

- Experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing workplace is preferred.

- Knowledge of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control circuits.

- Familiarity with electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and megger testers.

- Knowledge of industrial motors, protection systems, and electrical safety practices.
