1. Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled DRO Operator to operate and handle machines equipped with a Digital Readout (DRO) system. The candidate will be responsible for machining components as per engineering drawings, maintaining dimensional accuracy and following production and quality standards.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Operate machines equipped with a Digital Readout (DRO) system.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and component dimensions.
- Set workpieces, tools and machine parameters as required.
- Perform machining operations according to production requirements.
- Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
- Inspect components during and after machining.
- Maintain production records and report completed quantities.
- Follow machine safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and workplace housekeeping.
- Report machine breakdowns, tool wear and quality issues to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with the Quality and Production departments.
- Minimise material wastage and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.

1. Educational Qualification

- ITI in Machinist, Fitter or a relevant engineering trade preferred.




- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering candidates may also be considered, depending on the role requirements.

1. Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of machining operations.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Understanding of tolerances and dimensional inspection.
- Basic knowledge of machine safety.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team and follow production instructions.

1. Experience

- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and basic machining knowledge may apply.
- Experienced candidates with DRO machine operating experience will be preferred.

1. Working Conditions

- Work at the manufacturing facility in Waluj MIDC.
- Shift duty as per company requirements.
- Follow company rules, safety procedures and attendance policies.

1. Salary

Salary will be based on qualifications, relevant experience, technical skills and company policy, subject to applicable minimum-wage requirements.
1. Reporting To

Production Supervisor / Production In-charge.
1. Performance Expectations

- Maintain component quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Achieve assigned production targets.
- Reduce rejection and material wastage.
- Follow safety and housekeeping requirements.
- Maintain proper production and inspection records.
