[email protected] A DRO (Digital Readout) Operator (Fresher) in the manufacturing industry is responsible for setting up and operating conventional machine tools (such as milling machines, lathes, or drilling machines) equipped with a digital coordinate display to produce precision metal or composite parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate DRO Machinery: Use the digital display panel to track and control the exact position of cutting tools on workpieces with high precision.
- Read Blueprints & Drawings: Interpret technical engineering drawings, dimensions, and geometric tolerances.
- Machine Setup: Mount and align workpieces using vices, clamps, chucks, or fixtures.
- Perform Operations: Execute milling, drilling, facing, slotting, boring, turning, or contouring tasks.
- Quality Control:
Inspect finished parts using precision tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Keep equipment clean, perform routine lubrication, and resolve basic DRO or mechanical issues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: 10th, ITI, Diploma, or certification in CNC/Machining, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Usually ranges from freshers to 1+years of hands-on shop-floor experience.
- Key Skills: Drawing Knowledge, Mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading, precision measuring, basic math, and familiarity with linear scales and DRO panels.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
