1. Job Purpose

To provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation of management personnel, documents, materials, and other authorized items as required by the company, while ensuring proper vehicle maintenance and compliance with traffic regulations.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Drive company vehicles safely for official duties and other authorized requirements.
- Transport documents, samples and materials as instructed by the management.
- Follow assigned schedules, routes, and instructions from the reporting officer.
- Maintain the vehicle in clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including brakes, tyres, lights, engine oil, coolant, fuel, and other essential components.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain vehicle logbooks, trip sheets, fuel records, kilometre readings, and other required documents.
- Ensure valid vehicle documents, including insurance, registration certificate, pollution certificate, and permits, as applicable.
- Coordinate with the administration department for vehicle servicing, repairs, insurance renewals, and fitness certification.
- Follow company safety procedures, traffic laws, and defensive driving practices.
- Handle company vehicles responsibly and ensure that they are used only for authorized purposes.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company information and official travel.
- Perform other driving and administration-related duties assigned by the management.

1. Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing company, industrial establishment, logistics, or corporate transport operations will be an added advantage.
- Experience in commercial vehicle operations will be an advantage.

1. Licence Requirements





- Must possess a valid driving licence appropriate for the type of vehicle assigned.
- Must have the required authorization or transport endorsement, wherever applicable.
- Should have a good knowledge of road safety rules and local routes.

1. Required Skills and Competencies

- Protected and responsible driving skills.
- Good time management and punctuality.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to maintain accurate vehicle records.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Discipline, reliability, honesty, and professional conduct.
- Ability to follow instructions and work flexible hours when required.
- Knowledge of Malayalam; basic knowledge of English or Hindi is an advantage.

1. Working Conditions

- Work at the company's manufacturing facility and other locations as required.
- May be required to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs and company policy.
- Must comply with company rules, safety standards, and attendance procedures.

1. Performance Indicators

- Timely completion of assigned trips.
- Safe driving record and compliance with traffic regulations.
- Proper maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Accuracy of logbooks, fuel records, and trip sheets.
- Responsible use of fuel and control of avoidable vehicle expenses.
- Timely reporting of vehicle defects and maintenance requirements.
- Punctuality, attendance, and compliance with company policies.

1. General Conditions

The employee shall perform duties responsibly and follow all instructions issued by the management. Any accident, vehicle damage, traffic violation, or other incident must be reported immediately to the authorized officer. The driver must not operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances and must not use a mobile phone while driving in violation of applicable law. Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
