Key Responsibilities

Management

- Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned division.

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

- Develop and implement divisional sales strategies and action plans.

- Identify growth opportunities, potential territories, and business gaps.

Team Leadership &

- Development

- Lead a team of Regional Business Development Manager Area Business Development Managers (ABDMs) and Medical Representatives (MRs).

- Conduct field work, joint field visits, and performance reviews.

- Coach, mentor, and train the team for improved productivity.

- Participate in recruitment and on boarding of field force.

Relationship &

- Market Management

- Build and maintain relationships with key doctors, KOLs, hospitals, and institutions.

- Manage distributor/stockist network to ensure product availability.

- Execute CMEs, promotional activities, and product launches in the division.

- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and business insights.

Reporting &

- Compliance

- Prepare sales MIS, forecasts, and regional business reports.





- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory norms.

- Monitor budget, expenses, ROI, and operational discipline.

Required Candidate Profile

Education

- B.Sc / B.Pharm / Any Graduate (MBA preferred).

Experience

- 10 to 20 years in pharmaceutical sales.

- Minimum 10 years in managerial roles such as ABM/RBM/DSM.

- Experience in [General / Gastro / Ortho / Respiratory] division.
