Job Summary

Harsha Institutions is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Director – Admissions to lead and manage the overall admissions operations across its institutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing admission strategies, achieving enrolment targets, leading the admissions team, strengthening student recruitment channels, and expanding the institution's student recruitment network across South India.

The role requires a strong network of educational institutions, schools, colleges, educational consultants, agents, and other student recruitment partners across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

The Director – Admissions will report directly to the Secretary and play a key role in driving institutional growth, expanding regional recruitment networks, and achieving admission targets across all assigned institutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement annual admission strategies and enrolment plans across all assigned institutions.
- Set and achieve institution-wise, course-wise, and campus-wise admission targets.
- Lead and manage Admission Managers, Counsellors, Telecallers, Field Executives, and regional recruitment teams.
- Develop, establish, and maintain a robust student recruitment network across the entire South India region, including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
- Build and strengthen relationships with schools, PU colleges, degree colleges, educational consultants, admission agents, coaching centres, and other student recruitment partners across South India.
- Identify new geographical markets and student recruitment opportunities to increase enrolments from different districts, cities, and states.
- Establish and manage a network of regional admission representatives and recruitment partners to generate quality student leads.
- Develop state-wise and region-wise admission plans, recruitment strategies, and student outreach programmes.




- Conduct regular visits to key cities, educational institutions, and recruitment partner locations to strengthen the admission network.
- Set and achieve institution-wise, course-wise, campus-wise, and region-wise admission targets.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly admission performance, lead conversion rates, and team productivity.
- Develop strategies for lead generation, follow-ups, student counselling, and admission conversion.
- Coordinate with marketing and digital marketing teams to plan admission campaigns and promotional activities across South India.
- Organise education fairs, school visits, career guidance programmes, roadshows, and regional outreach activities.
- Monitor the complete admission process, from enquiry generation to final enrolment.
- Coordinate with Principals, Deans, Finance, Academics, Hostel, Transportation, and other departments to ensure smooth admissions and student onboarding.
- Prepare and submit regular admission reports, MIS, target achievement reports, regional performance reports, and enrolment projections to the Secretary.
- Analyse admission trends, competitor activities, regional demand, and market opportunities to improve student enrolment.
- Ensure compliance with institutional admission policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Take corrective action to address admission shortfalls, strengthen recruitment channels, and improve team productivity.
- Develop long-term partnerships that support consistent student enrolment and sustainable institutional growth.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline is mandatory.
- Master's degree in any discipline is preferred.

Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in educational admissions, student recruitment,



institutional marketing, or business development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management or leadership role is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing admission teams and achieving large-scale admission targets.
- A well-established student recruitment network across South India is highly desirable.
- Experience in developing and managing relationships with educational consultants, schools, colleges, and admission partners.
- Experience in higher education or multi-institution educational groups will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to expand into new regional markets and generate student enrolments across multiple states.

- Willingness to travel extensively across South India for student recruitment and institutional outreach activities.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary: ₹2,00,000–₹2,50,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
- Performance-based incentives may be considered based on admission target achievement and management policy.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
