DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure)

About the Company The client is a sovereign, agentic artificial intelligence company and the core intelligence layer within Abu Dhabi's G42 ecosystem.

Role Summary

You will build and run the Azure platform that one of their AI product depends on. You will own infrastructure as code, CI/CD, Kubernetes, security controls and observability across development, test and production environments within the client's private tenant.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, provision and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions for applications, data and ML workloads.
- Operate AKS clusters, container registries and Helm-based deployments.
- Implement security controls in line with UAE IA and client standards: networking, private endpoints, Key Vault, identity and RBAC.




- Set up monitoring, logging and alerting (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
- Administer Databricks workspaces and support Data and MLOps workflows.
- Manage environments, releases and incident response, and drive cloud cost optimisation

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on Azure experience across compute, networking, storage and identity.
- Infrastructure as code with Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker in production.
- CI/CD pipeline design in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Scripting in Bash, PowerShell and/or Python; Linux administration.
