- Should be able to make appropriate calculations
- Should be able to understand product characteristics & application of transfer
- Should be able to understand layouts
- Can do selection of appropriate conveyor and it's components according to application.
- Should be able to understand the manufacturing process & tools being used

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design and development of Belt Conveyors,



Modular Conveyor, Screw Conveyor, Wire mesh Conveyor, Vibratory Conveyor, Elevator Conveyor, etc. with the help of 2D design (AutoCAD) and 3D (Solidworks). Prepare manufacturing drawings and process drawings, BOM, and bought-out selections (Geared motor, Belt, scraper, etc).
2. Interact with the Sales team to understand the customer’s requirements.
3. Interact with the Project team for review and approval of the conveyor layout/design from the client
4. Interact with Internal Stakeholders (Manufacturing, Assembly, Quality, Project and Service teams) for design review, assembly instructions, process improvement, proto manufacturing, product testing.
5. Conduct design feasibility studies and prepare Practical & cost-effective solutions for RFQ along with costing data.
6. Prepare technical documentation / Manuals / Data sheets / checklists / SOP / Guidelines
7. Identify and resolve design-related problems (RCA), take corrective action and maintain relevant documents about learnings.
8. Design optimisation & value engineering

EDUCATION & TRAINING Diploma / Degree from a reputed institute in Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE

7-10 years of experience minimum
