Summary We are hiring a skilled Data Engineer with 4-8 years of experience, including a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on dbt development. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, experience building scalable ELT pipelines, and practical knowledge of cloud data warehouses, data modeling, data quality testing, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable ELT pipelines using dbt, including staging, intermediate, and mart-layer models.
- Build dimensional data models, fact tables, star schemas, reusable Jinja macros, and source-to-target mappings.
- Implement dbt tests, data quality checks, and root cause analysis to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and optimize data transformation solutions using cloud platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Amazon Redshift.
- Integrate dbt projects with Git and CI/CD pipelines, maintain documentation and data lineage, and collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

- 4-8 years of overall Data Engineering experience,



including a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on dbt development.
- Strong SQL skills with practical experience in ELT/ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with dbt models, testing, documentation, and reusable transformation logic.
- Experience with at least one cloud data platform: Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Amazon Redshift.
- Knowledge of Python, Git/GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks Workflows.
