Job Summary

Ramada By Wyndham, Alleppey is looking for a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to support kitchen operations, maintain food quality, and ensure timely preparation of dishes according to hotel standards. The candidate should have good culinary skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Chef de Partie and Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook food according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and food presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and assigned workstations.
- Follow food safety standards and proper food storage procedures.
- Monitor ingredient availability and report stock shortages to the senior chef.
- Minimise food wastage and ensure proper utilisation of ingredients.
- Support menu preparation and daily food production planning.




- Ensure kitchen equipment and utensils are used safely and maintained properly.
- Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely food service.
- Follow duty schedules, grooming standards, and departmental SOPs.
- Assist in maintaining temperature logs, food labels, and expiry-date checks as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours.
- Positive teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior chef.
