Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data & BI Engineer with deep expertise in banking data extraction, data warehousing, and business intelligence. In this role, you will lead the architecture, build, and management of data pipelines extracting key information from Finacle,

General Ledger (GL), and CRM systems into a unified reporting data mart. You will also design executive governance dashboards, process monitoring dashboards, and automate end-to-end data workflows, quality checks, and access controls.

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline & Architecture:

Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from Finacle (Core Banking), General Ledger (GL), and CRM systems into a scalable reporting data mart.

Optimize data models and schema structures within the data mart for seamless reporting and high-performance querying.

BI & Dashboard Development:

Develop interactive, high-impact senior management governance dashboards and operational process dashboards using Power BI (or equivalent enterprise BI tools like Tableau/Looker).

Translate complex banking, financial, and customer data into actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Automation, Quality & Governance:

Automate daily data refreshes, scheduled pipeline runs, and data ingestion processes.

Implement automated data quality checks, data validation rules, and error-handling mechanisms.

Configure granular access control, row-level security (RLS), and governance policies across data marts and dashboards.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education: B.E.



/ B.Tech (Computer Science, IT, or related fields) or MCA.

Experience: 8+ years of total experience in Data Engineering and Business Intelligence,

ideally within banking, fintech, or financial domain projects.

Domain Knowledge: Robust hands-on understanding of Finacle core banking system structures, General Ledger (GL) posting/reconciliation data, and CRM data integrations.

Technical Skills

ETL/Data Pipelines: SQL (Advanced), Python/PySpark, Airflow (or similar orchestration tools), Data Integration pipelines.

Data Warehousing: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, SQL Server, or Oracle.

BI Tools: Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling) or equivalent.

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills to work closely with business analysts and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Management:

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex data engineering and business intelligence projects across banking, GL, and analytics domain teams.

Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risk mitigation, resource allocation,

and milestone reporting.

Technical Leadership & Governance:

Oversee the architecture and execution of core banking (Finacle), GL, and CRM data integration efforts into reporting data marts.

Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance, security compliance,

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

Act as the primary technical delivery liaison between senior executive leadership,

Drive process improvement, cross-functional alignment, and daily pipeline operational stability.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education: B.E. / B.Tech or MCA; MBA or PMP/Agile certifications preferred.

Experience: Proven track record in delivery leadership and project management with strong technical roots in Data Engineering within Banking, Fintech, or IT Services.

Domain Knowledge: Understanding of enterprise banking systems (Finacle, GL, CRM),

data warehousing architectures, and senior management dashboard delivery.

Leadership & Strategy: Proven ability to build, mentor, and direct cross-functional teams of Data Engineers, Database Administrators, and BI Specialists.
