Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cyber Security Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and information security, along with a strong interest in cybersecurity and ethical hacking.

As a Cyber Security Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in security assessments, vulnerability identification, security monitoring, and risk analysis. You will work alongside experienced professionals to understand security threats, implement security best practices, and help protect systems, networks, and applications from potential cyber threats.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Assist in identifying and analyzing potential security vulnerabilities.
- Support security assessments of web applications, networks, and systems.
- Learn and apply cybersecurity best practices and security policies.
- Assist in monitoring security alerts and investigating potential threats.
- Perform basic vulnerability assessments using authorized security tools.
- Support security audits, risk assessments, and documentation.
- Assist in analyzing security logs and identifying suspicious activities.
- Research emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends.
- Help prepare security assessment reports and recommend remediation measures.
- Collaborate with the team to improve information security awareness and practices.

Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of computer networks and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with operating systems, especially Linux and Windows.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and information security.
- Understanding of IP addresses,



TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS.
- Interest in ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or similar languages is an advantage.
- Valuable analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or course in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, or Burp Suite.
- Basic understanding of web application security and common vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management concepts is a plus.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications or training are an advantage.
