: Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations Lead

Role Purpose

Responsible for end-to-end technical ownership of enterprise cybersecurity platforms protecting endpoints, data, email, web, cloud access, identities, and business applications. The role involves hands-on implementation, monitoring, policy management, troubleshooting, vulnerability remediation, and audit support within a regulated life-sciences environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement, upgrade, integrate, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
- Configure and optimize security policies across DLP, EDR/XDR, email security, cloud/web security, and access control.
- Monitor security platform health, alerts, exceptions, and control effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot security, authentication, access, endpoint, email, and application-related issues.
- Coordinate vulnerability remediation, patching, system hardening, and secure configuration.
- Manage OEM/vendor escalations and coordinate with IT infrastructure, network, cloud, application, and SOC teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational reports, dashboards,



and audit-ready evidence.
- Evaluate security technologies and identify automation and continuous improvement opportunities.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in DLP, EDR/XDR, endpoint security, email security, IAM, and cloud/web security.
- Knowledge of Active Directory/Entra ID, Windows systems, networking, DNS, and vulnerability management.
- Experience in security policy configuration, troubleshooting, incident management, and remediation tracking.
- Robust documentation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- 6–10 years of IT/cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years in hands-on security engineering or platform operations.
- Experience in pharma, life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, or another regulated environment is preferred.

Preferred Certifications CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Security certifications, or equivalent credentials.
