Job Overview We are looking for a reliable Saw / Cutting Machine Operator to cut wood panels (plywood, MDF, particle board) according to design specifications. You will ensure accurate dimensions, clean edges, and secure machine operation to support smooth modular furniture production.

Key Responsibilities Operate Cutting Machinery: Run panel saws (beam saw, sliding table saw, or CNC saw) to cut boards into required sizes.

Follow Cutting Lists: Read production drawings and cutting sheets accurately to maintain exact measurements and grain directions.

Maximize Material Use: Cut panels according to optimization layouts to minimize wood wastage.

Quality Check: Inspect cut panels for clean edges, correct dimensions, chipping, or scratches. Labeling & Sorting: Mark and label cut parts clearly before sending them to the edge-banding or boring stations.

Machine Maintenance: Clean dust/chips daily, lubricate parts, check blade sharpness, and report tool wear or breakdowns.



Safety & Cleanliness: Wear required safety gear (goggles, ear protection, dust mask) and keep the cutting area clean and organized.

Requirements &

Skills Experience: 1 to 3+ years operating panel saws or beam saws in a modular furniture or interior woodwork unit.

Measurement Skills: Ability to read a measuring tape (mm/inches) accurately and follow basic shop drawings.

Material Knowledge: Familiarity with handling MDF, HDF, commercial plywood, and particle boards.

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and handle heavy wooden boards safely.

Education: ITI / 10th pass or equivalent practical experience on the shop floor.

Pay: ₹8,600.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
