Country Manager – Hot Stamping Foil

- You will lead the national market strategy, business development, driving revenue, market expansion, and P&L; (Profit & Loss) accountability and operations for a hot stamping and decorative foil manufacturer for specialized metallic, pigment, holographic, and security foils.

Key Responsibilities Strategic & P&L; Management

F Develop and execute the country-specific business plan, revenue budgets, pricing models, and profit targets.

F Own the complete P&L;, revenue, margin, and cost targets for the country's hot stamping foil operations.





F Formulate and execute long-term strategic plans to penetrate metallic, holographic, pigment, and security foil segments.

F Track local market trends, competitor positioning, and substrate developments.

Market Intelligence

F Track competitor pricing, current regulations (e.g., eco-friendly or recyclable foil mandates), and emerging packaging trends.

Sales, Business Development & Channel Management

F Drive B2B growth targeting large-scale converters, commercial printers, OEM partners, FMCG brands and pharmaceutical packaging manufacturers.

F Build, manage, and expand distributor networks, agent channels, and direct enterprise accounts.

F Oversee high-value negotiations and position the company as a technical application partner (solving issues like thermal stability, adhesion, and foil release).

Operations, Supply Chain & Technical Alignment

F Coordinate with production, quality control, and R&D; to align foil structures with high-speed rotary and stamping equipment requirements and solve foil-transfer, die-temperature, or substrate-adhesion issues for clients.

F Oversee roll-slitting, layer coating quality standards, and inventory/supply chain workflows to minimize lead times.

Team Leadership & Governance

F Hire, mentor, and lead regional sales managers and technical service teams.

F Ensure local legal, regulatory,



and statutory compliance.

F Report financial metrics, sales forecasts, and operational KPIs to regional headquarters or the board.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Polymer Science, Printing/Packaging Technology w or related discipline with MBA in International Business or Marketing preferred.

2. Experience of 10+ years in the printing, packaging, or specialty chemicals industry, with at least last 5 years specifically dedicated to the hot stamping foil sector is a must.

3. Proven track record in general management, P&L; ownership, and country-level scaling.

4. Deep technical grasp of hot stamping machinery, dwell time, temperature, and foiling pressure variables.

5. Proven history of scaling market share, managing regional P&L;, and closing high-value deals with industrial converters.

6. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation mastery, cross-cultural communication, and basic technical understanding of foil-stamping machinery and substrates.
