Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced General Insurance professional to lead corporate insurance, risk management, policy renewals, insurance placement, premium negotiations, and claims management across the organization. The role will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive insurance coverage, optimizing premium costs, minimizing risk exposure, and managing relationships with insurers, brokers, surveyors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop standard operating procedures (SOP) & risk management manual.
- Review/ evaluate existing as well as recent fresh proposals.
- Prepare RFQ/ quote slip.
- Obtain terms/ premium payable quotation from Insurers, also involves interactions with insurance broking companies.
- Negotiate terms/ coverage/ premium cost & placement.
- Renewal of policies of all lines viz. fire, marine, engineering, liability, misc., motor policy, group personal accident policy,



workers compensation policy, group medical claim policy, group term life policy, directors & officers liability policy, professional indemnity liability policy, commercial general liability policy, cyber-crime policy, CAR liability policy & like other policies.
- Claims recovery & management/processing/settlement from claim intimation / registering stage to final claim settlement/recovery stage. Follow up with surveyors and underwriters for speedy issuance of survey reports.

Qualification & Experience :

- Insurance industry trends and practices, risk management Document preparation, Negotiation.
- IPR, Insurance handling, financial analysis, claims review.
- Business acumen, managing stakeholders and change, and strategic orientation.
- Any Graduate/ AIII, AIISA, or AIIISLA.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in the Insurance domain.
