Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteer role at PT. NIKOMAS GEMILANG IY DIVISION is a part-time, hybrid position based in Chennai, with a mix of in office responsibilities and some work-from-home flexibility.

The coordinator will manage daily volunteer operations, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and tracking volunteer hours to ensure programs run smoothly. This role involves organizing and delivering volunteer orientation and training, maintaining clear communication with volunteers, and addressing questions or concerns promptly. The coordinator will collaborate with internal teams to identify volunteer needs, support event planning, and strengthen relationships with community partners.

The role also includes preparing basic reports on volunteer activities and contributing ideas to improve engagement and retention.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to effectively onboard, supervise, and support volunteers.




- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to build trust, provide clear guidance, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience or interest in Community Outreach, including engaging local organizations, schools, and groups to expand volunteer participation.
- Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate schedules, manage multiple activities, and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting, with basic proficiency in productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, collaboration platforms).
- Prior experience in volunteer coordination, community service, or non-profit environments is an advantage.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in social work, management, communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
