Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Contract & Legal Engineer with a robust blend of civil engineering expertise and legal knowledge (LLB). The role involves managing contracts, handling legal aspects of projects, supporting tendering processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction or infrastructure projects and be based in or willing to relocate to Jaipur.

Key Responsibilities

- Contract Management

Draft, review, and administer contracts including EPC, subcontractor, and vendor agreements.

Ensure all contracts comply with legal standards and company policies.

Manage contract lifecycle from pre award to closure.

- Legal & Compliance

Provide legal support on project related matters.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

Liaise with external legal advisors when required.

- Claims & Dispute Resolution

Handle contract claims, variations, and disputes.

Prepare documentation for arbitration, litigation, or negotiations.

Interpret contract clauses and advise project teams.

- Tendering & Commercial Support





Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract finalization.

Analyze commercial risks and suggest mitigation strategies.

Support cost estimation and commercial negotiations.

- Coordination & Documentation

Work closely with project, procurement, and finance teams.

Maintain proper contract records and documentation.

Ensure timely reporting and updates to management.

Required Qualifications

B.tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering + LLB (Bachelor of Laws)

LLB (Bachelor of Laws) Mandatory

Experience & Skills

10-15 years of experience in contract management and legal functions Experience in construction, infrastructure, EPC, or real estate projects.

Strong knowledge of contract laws, arbitration, and dispute resolution Familiarity with contracts is preferred Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Attributes

Based in Jaipur or willing to relocate

Experience handling government or large-scale infrastructure projects

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple contracts simultaneously
