Role Description This is a remote, contractual role for a Mulesoft Architect with 7+ years of experience.

The Mulesoft

Architect will design and implement integration architectures using Mulesoft, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading architectural design sessions, defining integration patterns and standards, guiding development teams, and reviewing solution designs for best practices and compliance. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, overseeing integration roadmaps, and supporting troubleshooting and optimization of existing integrations. The architect will document architecture decisions, maintain technical artifacts,



and contribute to continuous improvement of integration frameworks and methodologies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, including experience defining integration patterns, governance, and solution blueprints.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills with hands-on experience in Mulesoft, APIs, and related integration technologies.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills, including designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise integrations across multiple systems and platforms.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to coordinate integration projects, manage timelines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- 7+ years of experience in integration architecture, with significant work on Mulesoft-based solutions in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of API-led connectivity, microservices, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), and security best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions within contractual timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring developers; relevant Mulesoft certifications are a plus.
