Position: Content Creator / Social Media Manager

Purpose: To run the Ministry's social media content end to end, from captions and event ideas to video support, so that every public engagement is covered clearly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Write captions, posts and short scripts for the Ministry's social media handles in simple, accurate language.
- Plan and maintain the content calendar across platforms.
- Suggest content ideas for every event, visit and programme the Ministry takes part in, including a coverage plan, key moments to capture and on-ground content needs.
- Support event planning from a communications angle, working with the media cell and ministry officials.
- Assist in video production shot lists, shooting, editing coordination, reels and short explainers.

Requirements
- Prior experience working with government, including an internship or full time job in a ministry department, PSU or government programme.




- Proven ability to write captions and social media content that is clear, sharp and suitable for a public office.
- Ability to generate event ideas and plan content coverage for public engagements.
- Working knowledge of video production and ability to assist on shoots and edits.
- Experience managing social media handles (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
- Valuable understanding of protocol, sensitivity and accuracy in official communication.
- Fluent written English as well as Hindi

Preferred Skills
- Degree in communication, journalism, media or a related field.
- A portfolio of past captions, campaigns or videos.
- Comfort with tight deadlines and working according to the client timelines

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
