Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage critically ill patients in the ICU and emergency department.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with life-threatening conditions.
- Provide advanced critical care, including ventilatory support and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Manage medical emergencies, sepsis, shock, and multi-organ dysfunction.
- Perform and supervise critical care procedures as per competency and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients’ clinical status and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure timely documentation, treatment planning, and clinical handovers.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and NABH quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients’ attendants regarding clinical status and treatment plans.
