Position: CNC Setter cum programmer

Shift: Rotational

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Experience: 3–5 Years

Qualification

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

∙ Set and operate CNC turning/machining centers as per production requirements.

∙ Prepare, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G - code/M - code.

∙ Set machine parameters, work offsets, tool offsets.

∙ Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders, and fixtures.

∙ Perform machine setup and ensure proper tool alignment.

∙ Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; and process sheets.

. Conduct first – piece inspection and in – process inspection.

. Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height gauge, Bore gauge, and gauges.

Troubleshoot machining and programming related issues.

. Optimize cycle time, tool life, and machining parameters.

. Ensure Components are produce within specified dimensional and quality requirements.

. Maintain production records, tool records, and setup documentation.

. Follow safety procedure and 5S standards.

. Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teans to resolve issues.
