Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support server migration, infrastructure modernisation and cloud operations. The ideal candidate should have strong Windows Server administration skills, working knowledge of Linux and networking, and experience supporting infrastructure migration projects.

The role involves migration planning, readiness assessments, execution support, troubleshooting, quality validation and coordination with technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute server migration activities, including rehosting and replatforming.
- Perform infrastructure readiness checks before scheduled migration activities.
- Validate network connectivity, bandwidth and replication requirements.
- Support migration planning, production cutovers and rollback activities.
- Troubleshoot Windows, Linux, networking and server replication issues.
- Work with cloud migration tools and block-level replication technologies.
- Support server workloads involving database environments.
- Review technical documentation, migration plans and implementation procedures.
- Validate technical deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with architects, technical leads, application teams and clients.
- Support junior engineers through technical guidance and deliverable reviews.
- Follow approved migration procedures, operational controls and security requirements.
- Manage multiple infrastructure workloads while maintaining quality and timelines.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, server administration or migration projects.
- Experience participating in at least one complete infrastructure migration project.
- Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server administration.




- Working knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and server migration tools, preferably AWS Application Migration Service (AWS MGN), or equivalent technologies.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, routing, firewalls and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Ability to independently manage assigned workloads throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and learn new technologies quickly.

Positive to Have
- Experience with cloud migration frameworks and automation tools.
- Exposure to Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code technologies.
- Familiarity with database migration tools.
- Experience with large-scale data centre migration projects.
- Exposure to regulated or security-sensitive environments.
- Understanding of data privacy and infrastructure security practices.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have strong infrastructure fundamentals, hands-on server administration experience and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Candidates with strong Windows Server expertise and partial cloud migration exposure may also be considered if they demonstrate good learning ability and adaptability.

Work Arrangement

- Remote working opportunity.
- Candidates should be available for an occasional office visit once a month.
- Preferred candidate locations include Noida, Pune, Mangalore and Chennai.

Note: Practical experience in infrastructure migration and strong technical troubleshooting skills are important for this role. Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
