About the Role

Royal China is seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Chef with strong knowledge of authentic Chinese cuisine, professional kitchen operations and food safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in a reputed Chinese restaurant, premium dining establishment or five-star hotel.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining consistent quality, taste and presentation.

Demonstrate expertise in wok cooking, sauces, stir-fries and traditional Chinese cooking techniques.

Follow standardised recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines.

Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with FSSAI requirements.

Ensure proper food storage, temperature control, labelling and stock rotation.

Monitor ingredient quality, inventory, food wastage and portion control.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment.





Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service.

Follow kitchen SOPs and assist with training junior kitchen staff.

Qualifications & Experience

Preferred: Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management or Food Production.

Minimum 2 years of experience specialising in Chinese cuisine.

Previous experience in a reputed Chinese restaurant, premium dining establishment or five-star hotel preferred.

Robust knowledge of authentic Chinese ingredients, sauces and cooking techniques.

Experience in wok cooking is essential.

Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
