About Agewell

Agewell is working to build a comprehensive continuum of care for older adults and their families. Our services span senior care, home-based care, rehabilitation, dementia care and caregiver support , with a focus on dignity, independence and quality of life.

We are now looking for an experienced qualified to lead our Dementia Day Care Centre in Kolkata .

About the Role The Centre Head will be responsible for the overall management of the centre, quality of care, programme development, team leadership and family engagement .

Key responsibilities:

- Lead day-to-day centre operations and ensure high standards of person-centred dementia care.
- Plan and supervise cognitive, physical, recreational and social engagement programmes.
- Develop and monitor individualised care plans.
- Lead, mentor and train care staff and activity facilitators.
- Engage with families and provide guidance on dementia-related care.
- Coordinate with psychologists, doctors, therapists and other professionals.
- Maintain care documentation and monitor participant progress.
- Support caregiver programmes, dementia awareness and community outreach.





Who are we looking for? Professionals with a Master's degree or equivalent in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Gerontology, Social Work, Geriatric/Dementia Care, Occupational Therapy or a related field.

3+ years of relevant experience in dementia, geriatric or elderly care is preferred. Experience managing a care centre or multidisciplinary team will be an advantage.

RCI registration is not mandatory.

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, experienced, emotionally mature and a strong team leader , with a genuine passion for improving the lives of people living with dementia and their families.
