2. Install CP anodes, reference electrodes, test stations, junction boxes, and associated accessories.

3. Perform CP cable laying, routing, dressing, termination, and identification.

4. Assist in installing Transformer Rectifier Units (TRUs) and associated CP equipment.

5. Carry out cable connections using approved exothermic welding or other specified connection methods.

6. Install permanent reference electrodes and test cables for pipelines and underground structures.

7. Support installation of anode ground beds, including shallow and deep-well arrangements where applicable.

B. Testing and Commissioning

1. Measure pipe-to-soil potentials using appropriate reference electrodes.

2. Perform ON/OFF potential measurements under the supervision of the CP Engineer.

3.

Conduct cable continuity and insulation resistance tests where applicable.

4. Assist in testing CP anode circuits and Transformer Rectifier Units.

5. Measure and record CP voltage, current, and potential readings.

6. Assist in conducting interference testing and CP system performance assessments.

7. Support commissioning and functional verification of CP systems.

C. Inspection and Maintenance

1. Perform routine inspection of CP test stations, junction boxes, TRUs, and associated cables.

2. Identify damaged cables, loose connections, defective electrodes, and abnormal readings.

3. Assist the CP Engineer in troubleshooting system faults.

4. Maintain inspection records and daily site activity reports.

5. Support corrective maintenance and replacement of defective CP components.
